A Journey through Paradise.
Day 1: Splashdown in Seminyak
Jet-lagged? No way! We hit Bali running, or more accurately, cabbing to Seminyak where the Hotel Di Prima became our first crash pad. Quick wardrobe swap and we were out, diving headfirst into the vibrant pulse of the local markets. Dinner at The Butter Beats spun us some desi tunes while dishing up spicy treats. Nightcap? Oh, yes! At The Rose and Rosso, where the vibes were as fizzy as our drinks, we toasted to night one of what promised to be an epic adventure.
Day 2: Nusa Penida or Bust
Day broke and so did we, off to Sanur Port with our eyes on the Nusa Penida prize. Thanks to our savvy Klook booking, we skipped the long queues and sailed straight to island time. Checked into Sunrise Cottages, our beachfront slice of heaven, then scooted around to Secret Penida for a lunch with views that outdid the Instagram hype. Sunset at Broken Beach? More like broken heart, it was so beautiful!
Day 3: Dive Deep, Eat Well
Scuba with the manta rays? Absolute bucket-list material. Temple Dive Centre hooked us up and we plunged into the deep blue like ocean ninjas. Manta Point was all fluttery sea giants and SD Point dazzled us with its underwater neon disco of coral. Surfaced to one of life’s top sunsets at Amarta Penida, where we dined like kings on edge-of-the-world views.
Day 4: Conquer the T-Rex
Farewell, Nusa Penida, and hello again, Bali! We tackled the T-Rex Beach descent, a real leg-burner that rewarded us with jaw-dropping vistas—totally worth the sweat! Back on Seminyak ground, the Kuta night market lured us in with its sizzling street eats and bargain-basement bazaars, perfect for exercising our shopping muscles and filling our bellies.
Day 5: FINNS for the Win
Chill mode: activated. FINNS Beach Club was all about luxe lounging, with cocktail in hand and DJ beats setting our toes tapping. We played it cool by the pool, soaked up some serious Bali sun, and lived the beach club dream, wrapping up the day with a sunset that turned the sky into a riot of pinks and oranges. Party vibes? Check. Epic day? Double-check.
Day 6: Sunrise Summit at Mt. Batur
Alarm clock? More like adventure clock! We woke at the crack of dawn (or what felt like the middle of the night) for the trek to Mt. Batur. Opted for the easy route—because, why not?—and still snagged the sunrise of a lifetime. Views? Explosive as the volcano we stood on. Post-hike, we soaked our bones in heavenly hot springs and buzzed our brains with a visit to a coffee plantation. Sipped the infamous Luwak coffee and bought some too—when in Bali!
Day 7: Chill Day Turned Thrill Day
Planned a laid-back day, but Bali had other ideas. A seafood dinner turned epic when Harshit learned the hard way that crabs weren’t his friends—hello, food allergy! Emergency room drama ensued, proving why travel insurance isn’t just a good idea—it’s a must. Rest of the day? Low-key recovery with a side of gratitude for health and hearty ice cream to sweeten the deal.
Day 8: Culture High at Tanah Lot & Bali Swing
Refreshed and ready to roll, we hit Tanah Lot at sunrise. Spiritual vibes and ocean waves provided a morning dose of serenity. Next up, Bali Swing—where we flew high over lush jungles, screaming our lungs out in sheer joy (and a bit of terror). High on life (and height!), we made memories dangling above the treetops, feeling like kids with a GoPro.
Day 9: Uluwatu’s Unearthly Charm
Next stop, the stunning cliffs of Uluwatu. Checked into Gravity Eco, which was basically #VillaGoals. Caught the Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple—chanting, fire, drama, and a sprinkle of rain made it feel otherworldly. The day ended with a sunset that stole our breath away, proving Bali sunsets never drop the mic—they just keep getting better.
Day 10: Beaches, Birthdays, and Bar Nights
Harshit’s birthday kicked off with beach vibes and ended at the ROCK BAR, sipping fancy drinks and living the high life. The views? Killer. The company? Even better. Spent the day soaking up luxury and ended it with a cheers to another year of globe-trotting and thrill-seeking. Nights like these remind us why we travel: for the moments of pure joy and connection.
Day 11: Gili Trawangan Getaway
We caught the early ferry to Gili T, landing in a slice of paradise where bicycles rule and cars drool. Checked into the Aston Beach Resort, a dreamy spot with its own private cinema under the stars. We kicked back on the sand, had lunch by the sea, and dived into the legendary Gili T nightlife. The highlight? A taste of magic mushrooms that turned the evening into a swirling kaleidoscope of colors and emotions, totally legal and absolutely unforgettable!
Day 12: Sun, Sand, and Screens
Lazy morning vibes flowed into an afternoon photoshoot by the azure waters. We galloped on horseback across the beach, basking in the golden sunset—a scene straight out of a movie. The night peaked with an open-air cinema by the sea, watching Titanic as waves whispered in the background. It was romance, nostalgia, and beach chill all rolled into one perfect night. We met amazing people and danced our way into the night.
Day 13: Farewell Gili, Hello Ubud
Reluctantly waving goodbye to Gili, we ferried back to Bali, already plotting our return. Our next stop? The serene Kiskenda Cottages in Ubud, tucked away amidst lush greenery, just steps from the bustling Ubud Market. The night was all about exploring local crafts and cuisine, soaking up every moment of our dwindling days in Bali.
Day 14: Ultimate Bali Adventure Day
Rented scooters and zipped off to the Kuber ATV Ride—a muddy, thrilling escapade that left us laughing and splattered from head to toe. The mishap of flipping the ATV only added to the day’s adventures, with minor bruises but major stories to tell. Recuperated with a serene visit to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where we sipped coconut water and marveled at the emerald expanse. A spiritual cleanse at Tirta Empul Temple washed away the day’s dust and left us feeling rejuvenated.
Day 15: Homeward Bound with a Singapore Spin
With heavy hearts but full cameras, we departed Bali early in the morning, heading for a brief adventure in Singapore during our layover. Changi Airport became our playground, where we explored its wonders from the Butterfly Garden to the jaw-dropping Jewel waterfall. Each step was a reminder of why travel is the best education and the most fun you can have learning it. As we boarded our flight home, we promised Bali—and each other—that we’d be back.
